Hi,
Those images make my mouth water. None of the posted images of kabob are common in the US. Those types of Kebab are common in Middle eastern and Mediterranean countries. Local have different names for them. Barbecue on metal skewers are middle eastern style of barbecuing. In US, meat is barbecued on a grill or on wooden skewers.
