Hi All I have got 2 questions...1. Is this sentence grammatically correct..."What is your favorite singer" ..... or does it HAVE TO be......."Who is your favorite singer"2. What about this one...."How do you live?"Does this sentence correct or does it, somehow, have to continue. For example..."How do you live a day of your life?"Thanks

Well, to use ‘what’ when the answer you're expecting is the name of a person is just a bit... dehumanising... So, it's probably better not to use it. Using ‘who’ is preferable: ‘Who is your favourite singer?’

‘How do you live?’ sounds correct to me. Adding ‘a day of your life’ only makes it a bit more specific.

What refers to an object, not a person.
