Two simple questions.

Hello,

Could you tell me which sentence is correct? Thank you.

(A) Music plays a big role in our life.

(B) Music plays a big role in our lives.

Lives is a plural for life.

(A) I lie in the couch.

(B) I lie on the couch.

The first one could use either. Each of us has one life, but collectively we have more than one life. Both are correct, both sound fine.
