two simple questions

For example, which sentence below is correct?

and what is difference between "would" and "will"?
What is the appropriate place to use either of it?

Not so simple. #1-- Got alone does not equal have except in casual or substandard English; use have got for possession: I' ve got that book. As for I've got that book vs I have that book , both are fine.

  • #2-- One difference is that would can be the past will : I think I will buy that book (present) I thought I would buy that book (past) Would also has other uses: When I was young, I would often buy comic books .
  • (past habit) If I were young, I would still buy comic books .
