two short question.

Hi guys,

Please, could someone answer me these two question..:-)

1 - In States....Please, what does it mean, if I come into the pawn shop in order to pawn some stuff and the owner of that shop tell me: "Sorry, I don't do pickups". Please does it mean, that he will not give me the money for the stuff that I want to pawn????

2 - Again something from the U.S culture..:-), please what is pay-per-view?? I checked the wiki for it and it seems that it is someting like a TV channel, which is not brodcasting all day...But I'm not sure. Please, does someone know, what it is?

thx in advance and nice weekend to all.

with regards

Hi JC,

I know nothing about **** shops except from what I see on TV crime dramas, but "pay-per-view" is a way to watch movies on your television, but you have to pay an additional fee to watch it. They also do some sporting events on pay-per-view as well. If you're at a hotel and you watch a pay-per-view movie, it will be added to your hotel bill. If you do it at home, it will be added to
