Two Questions, please.

Hello all,

Could you please check these questions.

1. If you don't want this ball point pen, take ______. There were some left in the box.

A) the other

B) others

C) another

D) other

I see that say (A) and (C) are OK. If (A) weren't correct, I want to know the reason, please.


2. Think of yourself, if not of ______. Thanks, but I don't see any other way out.

A) others

B) another

C) other

D) oneself

(A) seems good, but I don't find a problem with, (B) and (C), too.
