Two questions

Hello,

I've got two questions to ask you. The first one is:

Is it correct to say: "I put hinges on my bedroom door"?

And the second:

I'm thinking how to complete the sentence:

"Now I can cook like ................. .

Actually nothing comes to my mind apart from: noone else in the world.
Can you, please, suggest something else?
