Two questions

Hi,

First question...

The picture consists of trees and flowers.

The verb consist should be singular, right, becuase of 'picture.'

Then how come I usually see:

What does IT consist of?

Isn't 'it' a singular subject, which requires a singular verb?

Second question...

Is it okay to say "She receieved lust from her boyfriend" ?

Thank you!!

Hi, If you'll permit me to ask you, are you a native speaker? I can't decide. The English that you use to ask your questions suggests to me that you are, but the content of your questions suggests to me that you aren't.

Ah, thank you so much for your help! Oh, I am not a native speaker but I have regular conversations with native speakers to help improve my English. However, I don't nearly read and write as much in English so grammar is a little weak for me sometimes.
