two questions.
Hi,
Yesterday I saw an episode of Desperate Housewives..:-) and I came across there to two phrases, where I have no idea, what they means...:-(
1) Girls where talking about an present for an pregnant Bree van de Kamp. They couldn't decide, whether to buy her baby shower or not. Susan then ended this conversation with sentence:" Well, I don't have a problem with this...hint, hint. During the phrase hint, hint she had been humorously looking at others...Please what hint, hint means.??
2) Susan had been talking with Mike about the two gay neighbors, which recently moved in to Wisteria Lane. These guys obviously doesn't like other neighbors...:-) Mike said to this:
- Maybe they're keeping it (love to other neighbors) to themselfs.
Susan answered:
Once they will like me, they can keep to themself all they damn well please. (???)
I found phrase damn well please at urbandictionary, but I didnt understand the meaning...
