Two prepositions together

Hi, experts.

Are "along" and "on" correct together in the sentence or does there need to be only one there? Thanks.

They have helped up a lot along on our journey into field of IT.

Do you mean "help along * journey" is wrong? Google shows me about six million and a half search results for that.
