Two objects correlation.

Hi, can I say write "something increases with the radiator length"- the meaning is that something increases as the length increases.
Is it ok to say "with the radiator length"?

It sounds a bit awkward to my ear, especially in a formal scientific texts and especially at the beginning of a sentence. What do ya think?
