Two negations?

Dear friends, I have got a question. How can I express the idea: 'He is beating his wife again! I must do something immediately! I can't do nothing!' I mean that the person is not going just to sit and wait. She should interfere and she will.Two negations in one sentence- the rules say I can't do that. But how can I explain the idea? Yes, you can certainly do that, but it would be clearer and more natural like this: I can't just/simply do nothing!
