two intersections ago

Hi,

- I think you have to turn onto this street...
- No, it's not here...
- Are you sure this is not the right intersection?
- Yep, shut up, I know what I'm doing...
--- Several intersections later...
- Hmm, you know what you're doing, right? I bet we had to turn at least ten intersections ago/back. Where are you going? Don't you see we're getting lost?

What do you say in such contexts? Back or ago? Or what else? Also, is "intersections later" ok?
Thanks Emotion: smile
