Two homework or two homeworks?

Hello,

I was grading my students notebooks today, some students were missing some homework and I wanted to be specific as to how many they were missing.

So I kept writing notes like You’re missing two homeworks, or three homeworks. Because saying you’re missing two homework just didn’t sound right to me and I wanted the notes to be short..

Then I started to question if what I wrote was grammatically correct or at least acceptable.. is it?
