This phrase is from the song Wild Child of Heart.

Would you please explain the meaning of this?

Aren't heart and mind same thing?

This is awfully philosophical for this early in the morning, but here goes my try at it. heart = association with love, feeling, emotions, soul mind = association with thinking, ideas We're saying that the two people have two separate lives, but they think the same way. This isn't perfect, but as I said, it's early.
