Two grammatically confusing sentences....
1. 'It's truly saddening to hear that you have to go.' is this right?
'It's really sad to hear that you have to go.' or is this right?
If both are right, please tell me when I should use which.
2. 'I have to do everything I had had to do for english.'
I'm really confused about this sentence? Is this grammatically correct?
Please tell me.

Yep.. both senteces in 1 are correct.
2 is absolutely incorrect. You use two different tenses in the same sentence, which makes it so confusing.
A better option would be, in my opinion, I did (have done?) everything I had to do for English.

In addition to the previous replies:
1a. 'It's truly saddening to hear that you have to go.'
1b. 'It's really sad to hear that you have to go.'
1a sounds a little artificial. I would suspect that the speaker was insincere, if someone said it to me.
But it may sound better to AmE ears.

Grammatically, it's fine. There's a small slipup with the small 'e', but I'm at a loss to explain why some think it isn't. And it isn't all that difficult to envision a scenario where it would fit perfectly.
