Two Gerund Phrases = Appositive?

Ex.

Going skiing, going somewhere to do something different, is a good stress reliever.

Q. Can we use a gerund phrase as the appositive for another gerund phrase?

Okay, then purely speaking grammatically, putting two gerund phrases (recognized as nouns) is okay, right (used as an appositive)?
