Can one use:
1) I moved close, two feet from him.
2) I moved closer, two feet from him.
instead of:
3) I moved close, until I was two feet from him.
4) I moved closer, until I was two feet from him.
respectively?

2) I moved closer, two feet away from him.

instead of:
I moved close/closer until I wa

You could also say
1) I moved close, just two feet away from him.
2) I moved closer, just two feet away from him.
