Two dispensations or more than two?

Hi, does the following indicate two dispensations or more than two? If it indicates two, are they referring to an Old Testament dispensation and a New Testament dispensation? .

I think we can use the phrase "his old and new messages" to refer to his two separate messages, one old and one new, but I am not sure the underlined phrase can mean one dispensation each (that is, an Old Testament dispensation
and a New Testament dispensation). Thank you for your help in advance.

Hi. Please help. I know this is an old thread, but I hope you will help me. I have a book called "Word by Word," second edition, published by Pearson Longman, and on the back of its cover it has this sentence among several others to tell us about its supplements:

Vocabulary Workbooks at Beginning and Intermediate levels feature motivating vocabulary, grammar, and listening practice (Audio CDs included).

My question is this: Does "Beginning and Intermediate levels" in the sentence mean a Beginning level and an Intermediate level?
