Two adjectives that look similar but have different meaning?

For examples, luxurious and luxuriant. imaginary and imaginative. ironic and ironical. Each pair have same stem(or root) but have different suffix. Therefore those two has different meaning.

I want to know more of these adjectives, but don't know how to find them.

Could you guys help me?
