twice + noun

By the next morning, Ron's bitten hand had swollen to twice its usual size.
I’m twice your age.
He could earn twice his present salary at the new job.
Twice two is four.

Dictionaries say ‘twice’ followed by a noun is a adverb, and has the meaning of ‘two times the amount or rate of something’ In this case, is the noun to be still called noun , or is it needs to be called ‘adverb’ or something?
