Twice as much.. as/ twice as much ..than

Hi,

Which one is correct: "twice as much for females as males" or "twice as much for females than males"?

"The number of no responses in the phase without mental calculations was twice as much for females as males and the difference was significant based on the independent t-test."

(I should note that the driving performances of males and females are examined in two phases: with and without mental calculations. If the driver fails to respond to a visual stimulus in time, this would consider as "no response" )

Thank you!
