There were twice as many female undergraduate degree holders as male undergraduate degree holders.

Twice as many females had undergraduate degrees as males.

Are the above sentences correct ?

I want to express following idea(I just mentioned the numbers to ask the question)

female undergraduate degree holders=100
male undergraduate degree holders=50
