TV

Please, help me!

What's the meaning of blooming in thunder blooming (because I know it in relation to flowers, e.g. The flowers are blooming). And what is the other verb that means the same there ?

What do I say a TV that becomes white, I mean that suddenly stops broadcasting/transmitting programs ?

Thank you,

Jardeli
