Tutoring lesson

Hi,

This is probably a stupid question but if somebody called me to ask me where I was and a different person was just tutoring me, could I say this?

"I'm at a maths (math for American English) tutoring lesson. I'll call you later."

I know that I could just say: “I’m with my maths (math) tutor.”

I just want to know if the sentence above is correct and if you can think of any other options.

Any other suggestions? Emotion: smile

Thank you.

The subject is an unnecessary detail. I am in a tutoring session. I am at my tutor's house.

By the way, why would you answer your phone at all? Don't you turn it off while in any kind of class? Answering the phone during class or tutoring is very disrespectful of the teacher.

The red part is excessive. You could omit it.

Ann225I know that I could just say: “I’m with my maths (math) tutor.”

That's good.

Sorry. I can't talk now. I'll call you back later and explain.

By the way, if you have a math lesson to learn mathematics, and you have a swimming lesson to learn how to swim, then I suppose you have a tutoring lesson to learn how to tutor. In other words 'tutoring lesson' sounds wrong to my ear.
