Turning left, you'll find the post office?

I'd be happy if someone would answer my question. Thanks in advance.

What sentence is supposed to precede the sentence: Turning left, you'll find the post office?

1. Excuse me. Would you tell me how to get to the post office?

2. What kind of building will I find if I turn left?

3. Or else?
