Turned out to be

Which are correct:

1) At first I did not like him, but in the long run, he turned out to be a very good friend of mine.
2) At first I did not like him, but in the long run, he turned out being a very good friend of mine.

3) At first I did not like him, but in the long run, he turned out to become a very good friend of mine.
4) At first I did not like him, but in the long run, he turned out becoming a very good friend of mine.

5) There was a man in the shadows. I was scared to see him, but he turned out to be my uncle.
6) There was a man in the shadows. I was scared to see him, but he turned out being my uncle.

The first four sentences are supposed to have the same meaning. They mean that he became a good friend in the long run.
Sentences '5' and '6' are supposed to mean the same. They mean that he proved to be my uncle.
