She has been sleeping with lights [turned] on after watching the horror movie we rented.

Is 'turned' needed in the sentence? Please check for any mistakes.

1. She has been sleeping with the lights [turned] on after watching the horror movie we rented.

(As Zenah says, it would be more usual to omit "turned".)
