Turn off

Hi,

I have some questions.

1) The music is dull. I think I´ll turn off the music. - Is the last sentence correct ?

2) I´m hungry. I think I´ll go to eat. - Can I use TO in this sentence?

Thanks,

Ann

#1 is fine. " "Please turn off the music" is probably better. I'd advise against using the "to" in #2.

I'm hungry. I think I'll go (and) eat.

It's not wrong to say 'go to eat', but it's not usually said that way.
