turn into / turn to

Hi, all. I previously asked this question, but I am not sure if it was listed property (no idea how to check my non-answered questions)

I was wondering if the followings are all correct;

*I was on the way to the hospital to visit my brother. Right before the toll gate, I realised my wallet was missing. So, i turned into home."

*I was on the way to the hospital to visit my brother. Right before the toll gate, I realised my wallet was missing. So, i turned to home."

I'd normaly say 'I drove back home', but I am just wondering if 'into' and 'to' prepositions are both ok in this situation.

Also, please see the following;

'I got a flat tire, so I turned to a parking lot.'
or it has to be 'into' instead of 'to'?

Thanks for your help!

"drove back home" is okay but your other suggestions are not. Try these: "So I returned home." or "So I turned around and went home."

"into"

Thanks. I guess I gave you inappropriate example.

How about "I got flat tire, so I turned into a garage' sentence?
Would that be ok to use 'to' instead of 'into'? Or, both wrong?

Thanks

This is correct. Don't use "to" in these contexts.
