TURN DOWN ME or TURN ME DOWN?

Here I have 2 sentences:
1. She turned a lot of men down who asked her to marry them.
2. She turned down a lot of men who asked her to marry them.
And here:
3. She turned me down for a date.
4. She turned down me for a date.
if number 4 is right, so does number 1. But I think number 2 is also correct because  "She turned down a lot of men who asked.."

So, how's about it?

All but 4 are correct. With separable phrasal verbs ( turn down ), the direct object can usually come between the two parts or after. He turned down the job.
