Thanks. ..........So if I say "That car is turning around", it means "That car is turning back". .......And If I ask my toddler who faces with the back towards me to "turn around" , it means to ask him to face me. Correct? .....What is the verb that is opposite of face in "face somebody"? ...........Thanks

hi

Is "I'm sorry I've turn my back to you"
"I'm sorry I' giving you my back" mean that the person is looking at someone back. the opposite of face somebody?

Hi,

Consider this example.

You and I are talking.
I turn around, so that you are now looking at my back.
There are contexts in which this can be a rude thing to do.

I'm just curious about what you mean when you say, "it depends a bit on context."

Hi,

'Turn around' is not always used in a precise way, eg with the meaning of 180 degrees.
It can mean some unspecified amount..
Often, precision does not matter at all..
