I could not get how to pronounce the letter (U) in (tune ) word?

Is it like (u) in a Tuesday?

Which dialect? In AmE, you don't year /j/ or the first sound in "you". It is called yod-dropping. Yod-dropping is very systematic and depends on two factors: alevolar/dental consonants (t, d, n, l, s, z, th,r and affricates) before /u/ and how a word gets syllabified.

Venue (ven -ue) vs avenue (av-e-nue): you hear /j/ in the former but not in the latter.
