Tranquil waters on the
Shore of peace in a
Utopia of serenity.
Nature that is to protect
And give shelter to all
Missed its target and
Inched away lives of millions.

The wave found a wave within
growing cool with motion
ought a soul recovered from
this ocean
recover a nemeless gulf
to build hopes
our love should now rise again
so all lost ones may rise again
from the obllivion of the waves.

As the power of waters are more than those of the humans the poets are scared to write poems on Tsunami....

A booklet of student reflective poetry about the tsunami, Waves of Hope, was published in Kingston, Ontario, to raise funds for the tsunami victims. See http://sydenhamps.limestone.on.ca and enjoy the powerful writing of young people.
