Trying to place an accent
I came across a recording of a female voice on the web and I would appreciate if someone here could tell me what this accent is.

The recording is a voicemail greeting that is, I believe, a parody of a servant answering the phone.
The recording goes something like "'Allo love, the Mr and Mrs can't come to the phone just now. OO they're in the middle of a particularly gripping episode of Coronation Street. Oh but they don't like anyone to know that they watch it so don't let on that I toldja. You know I always get blamed when people find out things they're not supposed to know. But don't you worry I won't let a word slip out about you now, will I? You just go ahead and pour your little heart out after the beep."
I've never watched Coronation Street so I'm just guessing viewers of the show might be able to help.
I've heard this accent on another British TV show, the name of which escapes me. It was a sitcom probably shown in the mid 80's and is based on a holiday camp (maybe by the seaside), whose staff wear some very brightly coloured jackets. One of the ladies who worked at the camp had the exact same accent, IIRC. So I'm guessing the accent is common enough that most UK residents will be able to place it?
