Can I say,

She is trying the shoes now.

She is trying to put on the shoes.

She is trying to wear a pair of shoes.

These are all okay but probably do not have the meaning you intend.

We have fixed expressions for what we do with merchandise in the store. You would "try on" a pair of shoes (or pants) to see if they fit. You would "try out" a pair of shoes to see if they are comfortable for you to walk in.
