Try to thrust your guest on someone else

Hi

A couple of days ago, I read an interesting idiom which meant something like this:

Try to thrust your guest on someone else

Now I don't remember where I read it and what it was. Could anyone help me please?

Thanks,

Tom

It sounds like a relative was staying in your home, eating everything in the refrigerator, leaving his garbage lying around and dirty dishes in the sink, expecting you to do his laundry and entertain him. So you raved to your brother how wonderful this person was, such a dear relative, and your brother should invite him to move to stay in his house right away.

Keep a notebook near you so you can write these things down as soon as they attract your attention.
