Try to get some sleep.

Hi

Are these natural utterances? Any other suggestion?

(Husband to wife)

I'll be off to Aunt Barbara for an hour. You try to catch some sleep meanwhile.

Tom

PS: What about "take some sleep?"

I find the second sentence in both of the above examples unnatural. I would say: I'm off to Aunt Barbar a's for an hour or so. Try to get some sleep in the meantime.

You could also use "catch up on" instead of "get."
