try again

The four sentences below sound pretty much the same to me, but does any of them sound unnatural to native speakers? Also, is there any better way to say this?

(a) Having failed twice, I don't want to try again.

(b) Having failed twice, I don't want to try one more time.

(c) Having failed twice, I don't want to try once more.

(d) Having failed twice, I don't want to try yet another time.

Although the four sentences sound grammatical, only the first is common (in my opinion). Another option would be (e) Having tried twice and failed, I’m ready to give up.

Although the four sentences sound grammatical, only the first is common (in my opinion).
Another option would be
(e) Having tried twice and failed, I’m ready to give up.
