Trusted

Hi people!

I don't know the exact meaning of the word trusted. I will give an example to make it clear.

1) Sheila isn't very sincere ; don't believe what she says.

2) Sheila isn't very trusted ; don't believe what she says.

Are both sentences correct? I feel that the second one does not sound very natural. Could you give me some examples with trusted?

Thank you in advance

Regards,

Anne

So they have the same meaning I guess..Trusted means honest? I thought it had a slightly different meaning, namely reliable. However, my book does not accept reliable as a correct answer. Only sincere. I'm a bit confused.

I didn't say that sincere and trusted have the same meaning; I said that both sentences are good. Both adjectives make Sheila untrustworthy.
