True, truer, truest

I thought true would be an absolute adjective. As if somthing is true it is true if not it is not. Nothing could be truer then true.
Kino find a true pearl but never the truest pearl. But I found the comparative and superlative degrees of true in Oxford Advanced Learners dictionary. Please somebody tell me why and in what sense true is not an absolute adjective?

Thank CB!
I got it. It means true is not an absolute adjective but the use of it's degrees is rare or not used at all. Am I right?
