true or not?

I just had a mid-term exam. Please help me to see if the sentence I made true or not

1. Gararin, a Russian, was the first person to fly in the space in 1930.

2. He flied alone and across Atlatic Ocean.

Top answer

Gagarin, a Russian, was the first person to fly into space in 1961. Number two doesn't really apply to space flight but if you wanted that to be correct: He flew alone across the Atlantic Ocean.

No, not at all. Try:
