True Brit test on AOL

Following the Home Secretary's proposal for citizenship education for applicants for naturalization, AOL's UK front page today has a little Britishness test. I wonder if other AUEers of non-British birth might like to try it. (Even though I live in UK, I scored only 8 out of 10, erring on the Beatles and Royal family questions.)

I don't seem to be able to isolate the URL, I'm afraid.

Mike.

[nq:2]I got 6 out of 10. Good job I'm already here. I'd say it was mostly TIC, clearly being directed towards a late-middle-aged tabloid reader.[/nq]
[nq:1]If it had been an actual test of Britishness, there would have been questions about trains.[/nq]
And the weather. And tea-making.

[nq:1]Yup. I got 9/10. I can't get it to tell me which one I got wrong, but it was almost certainly the football one.[/nq]
Also 9/10. It turns out that I got the 'last successful invasion' answer wrong - and it serves me right. I agree

Remember, you're not to give the right* answer, but the most *British answer...the two may not coincide in every case..

I got 7/10, by the way...

I only got 6. I hadn't got a clue about the football, Queen's grandchildren and the Beatles song, and one other which I can't even guess at.

Anything intellectual. You can't be both a True Brit and an intellectual. (And you can't be both a New Brit and sober.)
