Trouble pronouncing "lt" combo, words like "bolt" and "called"

0 I have trouble pronouncing words with the letter "l" followed by certain letters like "t". Bolt, for example. Also "l" in words like "called". I have a little trouble with "l" at the end of words. But not nearly as bad as with one sylable words with "l" in the middle. I am somewhat familar with the tongue placement on words ending in "l". I just have trouble working the letters that follow the "l" into the word. The word "bolt" sound more like "boat". And "called" sounds more like "cawed". Any help would be greatly appreciated. 0-

0 You probably know already, but I'll repeat it anyway. 02br 02br 00You aren't raising the front half of your tongue enough on the L-sound. Try to make the tip of your tongue touch the roof of your mouth above your teeth.

  • This should place your tongue very close to the "d" or "t" position for the following "d" or "t" sound.
