Trimester

Is there a difference in the pronunciation of 'trimester' in British and American English?

The most frequent pronunciation seems to be [tra?'mest?].

But some dictionaries list is as [tr?'mest?].

Hi, When I lived in Britain, the word 'trimester' was not used at all. We spoke ot ' terms' . I don't know if this has now changed.

Hi,

When I lived in Britain, the word 'trimester' was not used at all. We spoke ot 'terms'.

I don't know if this has now changed.

It's a frequently used term regarding pregnancy. The first syllable for me sounds like "try."
