Trigger point

Hello,

I heard once (or I think I heard) in a movie someone talking about trigger point in relation to weather. Assuming I heard it right, what could this mean? I believe it was something like: The trigger point in here is -20.

Thank you

Trigger points are different with each person, but are usually physical changes in a person’s tension, blood pressure, sensitivity to stimuli, or some other sense. The air can be charged with electricity as a thunderstorm approaches; some electronic devices give off signals that some sensitive ears can ‘hear’; and more obviously, a person starts to shiver when the temperature drops below a given temperature (which differs by individual).
