Tried to call

A: Did you talk to her after what happened last weekend?

B: No.

A: When I talked to her yesterday, she said she'd tried to call you / she'd tried calling you / she'd been trying to call you, but you didn't answer.

What would be the most natural thing to say if the woman A is talking about told him that she'd tried to call B more than one time? Would one of my suggestions be the best for that?
