It is fine if perhaps a bit literary.
"Dinosaurs make us tremble. But they also fascinate us to some extent."
I have split the sentence because I think you mean they fascinate us "at least to some extent" and not "they make us tremble and fascinate us at least to some extent"
To me tremble sounds okay here.
