Tread Trudge Trek

[Y] 1. Could someone explain the nuances between Tread, Trudge, and Trek?

For example, I don't see any clear reason behind selecting any one of the three words in the following sentences.

A. I trod across the deep forest.

B. I trudged through the snow.

C. I trekked through the deep slush.

[Y] 2. Could you also explain what's the correct PastTense& Particle from of Tread?

Treaded Treaded, OR, Trod Trodden ?

I ask because I see Trod Trodden being used much more often. But sometimes I also see Treaded being used here and there.
