Trawling usually refers to catching game in the water. Trapping usually means catching things on land, but lobsters are caught in traps, so I guess one could refer to that as "trapping lobsters."

Also, trawling is done with a net, and trapping is done by catching something in a trap. I don't think there is any way they could be interchangable.
